I think you are right. It is tough these days. Hopefully the economy will pick back up by the time I get my 10 car built.

..was the day they let anything other than an air-cooled flat four not displacing more than 1650cc into it, IMHO. I liked it when it was a truly limited motor and unlimited suspension. Now it's unlimited costs with limited performance.

We used to have multiple Class 10 heats at Riverside.

My personal opinion and I like class 10 myself. But its a class that has let the cost of the motors get out of hand. The class 10 car is really a light weight class 1 car with a motor that probably cost more to buy and maintain for one season then a class 1 motor will. I think that is why we have not seen as many new 10 cars being built over the last year or so.

Everyone is always saying that, but to build a real class one race motor, not a stock Ls whatever, is more than the most expensive ten motor. it definetly is not a cheap class but how many classes in off-road racing are "cheap" to the people racing that class?

MORE entries are way down as well with only four cars signed up with little over a week left. Sign of the times and too many good races only a couple weeks apart.

I think there will be close to 20 class 10 cars when all said and done. I know a guy with a little green car that will be flying around parker that weekend.
