WSORR created the new ultra 4X4 class due to low pro 4X4 truck counts at Midwest races the last couple years. They stated this would be the new "premier" 4x4 class. Now with unification of RJ's series and WSORR where does this leave dedicated racers who have considerable investments and heavily involved with the "ultra" program? Please discuss...

Those trucks have ZERO chances against the likes of Greaves, Huseman, Douglas, Leduc, etc....
They need to be in their own class.
for the record, an ultra 4x4 is legal for "classic" pro-4, it may not compete with the front 5 guys but with 3" longer arms on the front it won't be that far off. mine may get one of my pro-2 engines for this year so we might find out.
i see ultra 4x4 being a midwest regional class, at least till truck counts go up.
