Check the DA News section. The story is there. She's moving up. I think she will be TT next year the way she's progressing.

Re: heidi steele class 6?
Heidi has moved to the unlimited mid size truck classes to keep learning faster compitition and vehicles. She had a great year and we just were a little slow on the change as we took a little time to decide what options we had.
Class 6 is slated to be mini TT style and that seems like a class that can take off. We like the aspect of not having to deal with people that always want to change and interpret the rules in limited trucks.
The 7sx was ready so we ran both unlimited classes. I personally was happy with a podium in 7 with the little leafed truck with a stock motor. What a brutal track.
Good job Boogers Mom. XO

Re: heidi steele class 6?
I noticed there was only one entry in class 6 at the LDC. I know what class 6 used to be, but is this a new truck class for Score this year? Also is this the same as BITD Class 7200 Unlimited Mini or Mid size trucks?

The first race in the new Class 6 was last years Baja 1000. The rules are just about the same as BITD but in SCORE they had to be different and made the truck 88" wide insted of 85" wide like BITD
. Yes there was only 1 entry but that is because Heidi teamed up with Ross Savage in his BITD 7200 class truck. There will be more entries this year in this class and it will grow. The sad part is we tried to just open up class 7 to follow the BITD rules but there was a guy who cried... O well.
Now I know on Saturday the truck broke an axle less than 1/2 way into the race and Heidi brought the truck to the finish line. Keep in mind the first time she drove the truck was Friday. Day to with new axles in the truck the truck was faster than all the 7 open trucks and real close to class 8 times. Not bad for a stock cab with working doors, 4.0L v6, a stock frame, and bolt on suspension! O-yea a two time in the same year champion driver! WoooHooo!

when again was this 6 supposedly faster then 7? Because all of the competative class 7 trucks had passed the 6 by mile 2 BOTH DAYS.. and lapped the 6 almost twice

Re: heidi steele class 6?
Class 7 winner was 1 hour, 51 minutes, 1 second, 40.534 miles per hour
Class 6 winner was 2 hour, 13 minutes, 18 seconds, 33.758 miles per hour
I'm confused how was Class 6 faster?

Re: heidi steele class 6?
That is the weekend overall, we limped the truck for two laps on sat. just to finish for points. Heidi drove sat. and did one hell of a job for her first time in the truck. Class 7 is very competitive. You guys have big motors and have been driving your trucks for over five to ten years. Look at the times for sunday, all done with a whopping 215HP. Dan you never passed me on sunday, I started behind you due to an illegal helmet issue. We caught you on the infield, we would see each other every time around. I just cruised to finish due to the fact that I am not competing with you for a championship. You had me by 7 seconds, I surely could have made that time up had I been battling in your class, but you unfortunately wouldn't let that happen. Don't worry Chamlee you are still my hero.
