Wooooo round 2. Hopefully I won't drink as much the night before, NOT have to take a crap during the race, and have a little bit more endurance than I did at Round 1. If not, oh well.

I don't know much about him but it is nice to see David Kamo come out on top. It seems like he is always hauling ass on the videos and always the bridesmaid. Also, congrats to Kyle Penner on the win in the quad class. It'll be nice to have him back at the next local race. It will be a fun race for District 37 riders if you all would like to come down. February 22nd. www.amad38.com for more info.

Hey thanks Jason. We're also having a local race that weekend by the Checkers MC club, not to mention the Adelanto GP, the Adelanto WORCS race and my hubby's first race in his Rzr at Perris Auto Speedway. Dang, too much going on!
Jason, tell that Josh guy that his helmet is not going to fit him much longer if he keeps it up.I think our "fast" guys are all hitting retirement age. There are lots of fresh new young guys out there on quads but not many doing the nationals. In my very competitive years ('02-'06) there were many many more quads at the Nationals. Like everyone else, I guess we get tired of beating up our equipment against the rocks. It gets tiring and expensive. I know you guys down there in D38 are used to pinning it.
Truthfully, I only went to the start line to watch the expert bikes take off. I had to hurry back to start taking photos. Congrats to Kyle. Hey, is Rob Niemela still racing?
See ya'll in March for Round 3!

Rob has not raced yet this season. He has been at both races, but you know how quad racing beats you up if you do it for a long time. I am pretty sure he will pick a few races to do this year.
I know how the rocks beat up your bike in District 37...I came home in my only race up there a couple of years ago with 3 flats and some nice dings in my A-arms. When I rode back to the trailer I had to make three rights because I couldn't make 1 left. Then I spent 1/2 an hour pulling cactus out of my body. I really like the terrain and the lower speeds up there. Racing in 38 isn't any cheaper...what you guys spend on parts we spend on new motors because ours are running nearly wide open for twice the distance. Now that I'm riding on 2 wheels my motors seem to be holding together a little longer. I just can't seem to get on the pace of the faster guys.
