    Question twisted frame or bed?

it seems that my frame or bed is twisted, when i weigh down the left side of my bumber the bed straightens out. could it be the bed starting to warp? i pulled my bed sides and cut the rear portion of the fender up at an angle and built the bumber before it started to twist. im about to install deavers and 16" fox r/r shocks, is there a way to eleminate the twisted look when i build my bed cage?

Take it to a shop with a frame rack and have it checked and straightened if needed.
If you've been hucking it at all, it's probably tweaked a bit !

    Re: twisted frame or bed?

Most trucks I have seen have a little bit of a lean to them. I think most of the time it is the spring sagging on the side the fuel tank is on.

It may be a bent frame but I would guys it is a spring issue.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. Real fast race cars only sit on 3 jack stands anyways

    Re: twisted frame or bed?

Just put in the new springs etc. If its still sittin' sideways then you'll know its not the springs atleast. Frame, bed/mounts or shackle next on the list. Build bedcage symetrical or your really gona get cross- eyed lookin at it. Mounting the shocks (bedcage) any certain way wont help straighten it out no matter whats bent or fatigued... the shock will give, the bent or fatigued steel will stay put until fixed or replaced. cha chinnng.. have fun at the MUDD BOGGGGGS, post pics!!!
