NEW MAD racing 2 seat mini buggy
New mini buggy from MAD racing, this is a 2 seat version of the previously posted single seater. This particular vehicle has an injected VW motor with an 091 transaxle. Added is a rear bypass shock and an larger 31" BFG tires on 15x4 BTR beadlock wheels. A future version of this car is going to be built w/ an ecotec engine for the new mini buggy class.

Cool. I like it and I don't usually like buggies.

very nice car. why are you running beadlocks? seems pretty light to me and with only one shock extra wheel weight makes a difference.

Beadlocks are being run because all cars in the shop use the same wheel. Not the same tire, but the same wheel. Driver of the vehicle also requested to run beadlocks. Weight is a big deal, and we are combating that by running a smaller tire, something like you'd see on a 1600 car. The R1 powered car has a smaller tire, and just overalled a short course race in Ensenada last week.

The car looks good, Are any of your cars gonna be racing Glenn Helen next week? We just tested out MC-10 and are going to try to make it our first race.

Yep, those shocks have been good to us on the first 2 cars.
Thanks

I think we should just start calling it the EcoTec Class...
The new car looks good especially in red. Is it going to be a short track car, a play toy, or what?
