I have an 85 caprice shown in the picture that I would like to use more at random desert locations, I can't register anymore cause it was an impound for registration and I bought it from a salvage yard, but want to green sticker it, anyone tried anything like that? Tips? Pointers? etc?

Go down to the DMV with your pink/salvage title and request a green sticker. They will probably want to verify the vin and maybe put a ca vin number plate on it.
I had a buddy do it on a jeep, it was really easy becuase it already had a vin and was in their system.

or just buy an out of state green sticker the next time you are in vegas at nevada off road 30 bucks

Our Lincoln Towncar is green stickered. My buddy just took it to the Highway Patrol and then off to the DMV if I'm not mistaken.
