Lots of It! Some excellent courses could be put together out there.
I am glad to see this effort to open some of it up.
Basing the race from private land is a good start. It may open up the many posibilties for a point to point race.
There was someone around White Salmon Washington working on something simaler
on private land. I need to run that old thread down and see if he got anywhere.

    Re: Oregon Desert race

Open for suggestions. In the planning phase now. Pit area would be at:
Lat 42°42'42.05"N, Lon 121° 8'17.84"W. Check the area out on Google Earth. As soon as weather clears in the area I will be getting some high quality arial photos of the proposed course. The planning is very fluid and I would like get suggestions from any and everyone that's interested. My main purpose is to try and get a mix of everything that Oregon has to offer (forest, desert, high mountains, etc...). I believe that the area that I've chosen will include all of the above. If the interest is there then I would have no problems opening this up for all interested classes. So throw out your suggestions. I would like this to be a community effort as much as possible.
