Why don't you take your foot out of your mouth and post an intellectual thread about the history of off-road racing and educate us rather than stereotype a group of people based on a internet post by one individual.

I havent actually met any of the DA in person, but I have to say, I like the way they stick together, have a good time and share it with the world. I dont live in Southern Cali, and have to live off of RDC for info. I dont wear a flatbill, or a hoody, but I have to say the DA style sticks out in a crowd. Im all for the big dollar teams in the sport, but its nice to see another group change it for the better based on simple beliefs! Isnt that what the RR was all about?

My offroad racing consist of POST RACING in the early days, under and up to 2000......OL SCHOOL! When my car is done next year, if im stuck in a tight spot, my first call would be to a DA member in the pits. I just hope they would feel just as welcome in our pits!

    See you in the dirt!

To the OP...absolutely not. Cameron and crew are good but def no rough riders. They need big factory backing, unlimited funded vehicles, the best drivers in teh sport, and a whole lotta big mustaches to even be considered the RR's of this decade.

And the "bro" persona or steroetype by the way they dress or act...they obviously dont care or they would change it. So what if they are bros? They are dedicated to the sport of offroad racing and stick together and have a good time and sometimes even knock over the podium. I know Cameron is "living the dream" and if he and his crew want to dress the way they do...f-it. As for the DA being bothered by the bro stereotype...if it really bothered you guys as a crew you would probably change the DA appearance and be less sterotypical "bro-esque".

    per urban dictionary:
"a usually white young male, found commonly in places like san bernardino county, as well as orange county. always, without exception, drive big lifted trucks, often white. has the name of their crew or whatever in big white letters on their back window (ie, "skin", "metal mulisha", ["DA"]. wear: trucker hats off center, sagging dickies shorts, high black socks, skater shoes or those black corduroy slipper things, have a lot of tatoos"

I have only spent time with Cam once and I can personally say he is a good guy. Within the couple hours we spent, he invited me to go prerunning for san felipe and to come stay and join the team for the race.

I just had a look at this link, and to keep on track with the thread title "the DA = modern day rough riders" I have to say there is ZERO comparison between the DA & Rough Riders and the thread is a lost cause.

My #1 kiss *&^ picture i posted earlier still says it all....

You cant compare the DA to anything or any group because their have their own style. In 10 years maybe someone will be asking if a group is the new DA.....

And Pistol they kicked you out because of the mullet and you have to win races to stay in the group
