'87 pathfinder p/r build
i have this old Nissan Pathfinder that used to be part of the red whte and blue factory team in the "money days" of off-road racing and publicity, when i was only between 5-9 y.o.a!
the oem frame was heavily fatigued and bent up front and since I have acquired some skills i have been itching to apply them to something of my own rather than everyone elses toys at work. Its been a blast but of course money and time are often roadblocks. either way ive got alot of what i need just to set it down n get it rolling which i'll be having to do asap in order to move in a couple mos. I'll keep posting if anyones interested.. i think this ol' girl's gona be a pretty promising!! ...my crossed fingers tell me so...
as far as what you see goes, the lower arm was an idea that is completely scratched but still filling in as a mock. i think i will go with a thin plate construction rather because i cant get what i want with the tubes.
I'm open to questions and suggestions. if moderators dont allow them just pm me.
-thanks for snoopin'

Cool, was this one of the Sherman Balch pathfinders? Keep us updated. I saw that Pathfinder running around Laughlin a few years ago.

it was a p/r for Spencer Low Sr., handed down to his son, whom i bought it from. in this pic you put up is Jeff from FST, "testing", who did the bulk of the work on it about 5 or 6 years ago. it worked great but was still based off of the stock frame thats folded and i wanted my own work under it since ive been capable. I did have it @ laughlin that year....

the back is gonna be a can of worms but it will look amazing when its done. obviously the frame has to go bye bye for the suspension to keep up with the front so theres going to be alot of improvisation goin on to support the back of the cab and mount suspension. i'm anxious for it but its still a long way out before i can even scratch into it.
