DRIVE Off Road - Adopts Three New Classes for RDC250

The DRIVE Mini class will consist of trucks and buggies powered by a sealed and unmodified Ecotec engine.

The UTV class consists of slightly modified to extremely modified UTVs.

The Desert Kart class is made up of off road karts designed specifically for this type of racing.

For those that are scratching their heads on what to make of this... Please post some pictures of each and class details...

Let's all jump in and share the knowledge.

You might want to start a topic about this over on www.minibuggy.net . Quite few people on there are looking for places to race their pilots, utvs, home-builts, etc.

Most are bike powered, snowmobile, or ecotec powered.

This has probably been answered but are the UTVs and/or Karts going to run a different course or the same?

The UTV's and carts will be racing on a different course. Any specific questions can be answered by Larry Cox (Drive organized for both those classes).

Check out the DRIVE website for more info about the Race-Dezert.com 250:

Re: DRIVE Off Road - Adopts Three New Classes for RDC250

Trophy Karts will be racing in a closed off area around main pit. As far as UTV's etc... they will be racing on a seperate course 3-4 mile loop open desert style. For the start/finish area they will be using the same as the regular racers. We don't want to have utv's on a complete loop as the bigger cars/trucks will be on, safety reasons. More info can be found on the drive website.
