    bus motor and tranny

    i have come across a vw bus, 73 with an auto tranny. it runs, would it be worth $500 for it to use in a sand buggy project? are the autos worth anything. or should i pass

    Isnt the auto a swing axle? if so it has gear reduction at the end of the axles. it could be hard to adapt. and good luck finding a R&P or anything else to lower the gear ratio for 33" tires.
