Looks good I think, maybe a bit to much heat though. What kind of welder are you using? I set my dynasty at around 460 pulses per second so the heat doesn't build up and helps keep a pretty copper color. And the heat rings are a lot closer to the weld. But too cold is bad also. Wish I had garage builders skills for sure.

its just a syncrowave 200 w a cooler on it, 3/32 tung w 1/16 rod... that is a practice piece.. i havent tried it w a fast pulse, i'll try it...

Is that oxy-acetelyne welding? It looks like it is. It also looks like you are welding to a flame or plasma cut jagged edge. That edge is contaminated from the cut and will never weld right, and the jagged edge will also be a challenge to weld. You need to clean up those edges before welding.
