    Not to hijack PDM's thread, but $2700 ($2200 + 475) is a low end 091. Everything I have seen is $3k just getting going.

    The 094 looks as if it can take a beating from less experienced people as well (aka the Wife). The reverse gear by itself makes it worth it.

    would anyone know if the adaptor plates would be the same as an 091 say for a diff motor application???

    Yes, 091 and 094 same specs as far as bolt patterns etc.

    Weddle industries had a booth at Parker, he had an 094 with the custom cable shifter attached. Said they are way more reliable than the 002 & 091. Only difference is the reverse gear. Looks like a good option.

    The cable shift is nice, checked the site. I just got ahold of a 094 and am considering putting it in my baja bug. I'm confused and torn.
