Does anyone have a link to Turnkey? I just brought home a pair of 2.2 Ecotecs from AZ to put in what was my Class 10 car. The engines are bone stock and have never been used. I need to find out how to get them tagged.

I WILL make the switch if its supported by the class 10 leaders (Higman, Hutchins, Job, Ashcraft, etc) I am all about saving $ and racing MORE due to not having to spend big money on my motors. I just dont want this to hurt class 10 more than its all ready hurting (low car count) The Ecotec 2.4 would be something to consider and I see as a happy medium for the guys running the Kroyer and Wik waterpumper motors as their HP wouldnt drop and it would make a noticable HP change for the VW guys. I love my VW motor over the waterpumper motors but my motor maintence is crazy. I have TWO full turnkey VW 2.0L motors that I would pull out and switch to a Ecotoc platform IF ITS SUPPORTED by the racers within the class.
Agree with everyone SCORE did goof up not consulting with the racers or maybe they did with a select group.

Well just remember as far as the class 3000 Desert Lites class is concerned MDR is following BITD rules. So cars built to BITD specs will be legal to race MDR.
Its nice to know that even if Score chooses to have their own class rules, that other series like MDR are conforming to BITD rules so that the racers will have more choices as where to race their cars. Why build a car or truck that can only be raced in one series?
I just reread the proposed rules. The class 2 rules are not that bad. Maybe I am missing something but why no bypass shocks? Is this to save money? Why eliminate the current mini trucks?
The class 4 rules will take cars from lots of other classes. Not a mini class. No minimum weight? If I am reading this right. I guess you could race a current mini/lite truck. But the trucks will have a weight dis-advantage.

I was really excited to see a big class with the best racers moving and racing between score and bitd. Would of been really cool to see all the variations and strategies with differant wb rules truck / buggy and light "mini" cars going after some of the faster limited classes like 10,12. 1-1600, etc. Still bothers me how the two organizations through their differant rules just cut this class in half or maybe even more by those so discourged they dont even build at all.
I for one was looking to build truggy type according to bitd rules with 2.4 and looked forward to racing bitd and a few score races each year - san felipe and the 1000.
With score rules my motor would be illegal, my car to short to win?, would need to drive as single seat.
I guess i could have a bitd motor and score motor --- would solve the tagging issue also. Maybe 111 inch could compete for win? and driving solo isnt so bad, and weight of truggy at 111 inch maybe not to much more than a 10 car?
Seems though best bet is a 10 or 12 car converted to ecotec.

I guess its going to be build a mini/lite car for BITD, MORE, MDR rules. Or build a car for SCORE rules. I for one would only race in a couple of Score races a year. It would be great to have a car that you could race any where you want but Score screwed that up.
SCORE left out the turcks becuase of ivan. simply put in a short version. the TL's and masons ("spec trucks") imposed a threat to protrucks and ivans contract with sal fish.
