    Sealed 7200 class

I wish we had a sealed engine class for a 7200 truck... this 4.3 v6 is sure adding up quickly $$$. I would much rather have bought a sealed 5.3 from turnkey...

I like what's going on in the 3000 class but it does not have enough power for my tastes...

I think all these new classes are starting to be too much...

I agree totally... but why buy a sealed 4 cyl when you could have a cheap v8?

    170HP - $5500

More power = more $$$$$ if you have all that HP, you gotta have beefier parts, stronger truck...etc. etc. etc. You dont need tons of HP to go fast.

Sounds like you are in the WRONG class. Race sportsman and do whatever you want. 7200 is MINI TT. There is nothing TT about a sealed motor.

Every class of desert racing has ALWAYS been too much. If it was cheap I would do it.

    Re: Sealed 7200 class

I totally understand all your comments, I didn't want to race sportsman because I like having equal competition. I just think having 100hp unlimited truck is a little weak. Maybe I am just sick of dumping money in this expensive motor... I wish someone offered a nice turn key v6 then at a reasonable price.

Just wait until you have to plumb and wire it, and buy a motec to run that biiiaaatch. Doesnt turn key offer the short star as a ready to run V-6.
