Re: Sealed 7200 class
Easy Woody!!!! I wasn't talking about your talent,I was talking about all those idiots that think Hp=brains=automatic good driver.I always enjoy racing with you and trust me we,the Looney's and others know your fast.As for me I'm building new class6 /7200 with one of there time bomb 4.5 motors in it. I bought an almost rolling chasis with motor already in it.So now maybe I can lose the little bit of talent I don't have with that supposed 550 Hp it has.So for now I'm stuck being an internet race nerd!!! Hope to see you in San Felipe. GOOD LUCK!!!!

I know I could stay with the junk yard motor but I thought it would be wise to go with a oddfire crank and build up from there but it seems hard to find a stopping point with the motor... and finding compatible parts have been near impossible.
so for all that $ and work, what kind of HP is it going to have?

Too many buggy classes.. Should only be class 1 and limited. I think your 11 car would fare well against 10 cars, 12 cars, 1600 cars, etc. Trucks and buggies, same idea. Some with stock suspension, some with modified suspension and small motors, some with unlimited suspension and limited motors, and some unlimited. It really doesn't seem to be killing entries. There aren't very many classes I see where you wouldn't have at least a little competition depending on the series you want to race in.

Good to know your mad at me Woody,if you weren't so far away I'd come help you wrench. Do you have all the parts you need? Call me if I can help.To bad we couldn't get score to amend rules on 7open to 85" so we could have a bigger class, but I don't know if having full tube car would be considered fair anyway, being at 83" will be alot nicer though. The 4.5 I inherited is A Chevy/Buick.Call Me if you need (619-995-5358)

good point but bitd is heavily sponsored by ford they like to see current technology on the track.hence stock mini and stock full. where does that leave us guys with beam trucks. bitd has an excellent handle on this deal i believe. three classes for mini trucks and two classes for full size trucks depending on budget

Re: Sealed 7200 class
I am here to tell you that HP isn't everything. I run a 100% bone stock Toyota 4.0 V6 in my truck. The ONLY mods are a set of Doug Thorley headers and an intake tube I made myself. Now my truck is not the fastest thing on the track, but I feel confident it can run with just about anyone in an Unlimited Mini Truck. Not to mention I feel my stock motor will get ALOT more reliability out of it over a race motor.
Chris Taylor,
You and your truck are a rocket ship brother!! I was happy to do battle with you at Primm. I had clutch issues from the start on Sunday that ended up causing a DNF for the day on me, but other than that, I had the time of my life racing against You! Hope to do battle again against you this season.
