New helmets

Does anyone know if a new rating is going to be released for our helmets in 2010. Just wondering, Im buying a new helmet and would hate to have it expire before I can use it.

An Sa2005 helmet should be good until 2016. Most sanctioning bodies allow 10 years after the rating. My guess is your helmet will be pretty beat in 6 years of off road racing and you'll want to replace it anyway.
I heard that the sa2010 helmets will be released in October of 2011 from one of the manufacturers.
