This is going to have the people that are in the loop of what is hot and not in the world of national marketing looking at what Geico is up to? and why did they become involved with the lucas off road series, it going to have the same affects that TIDE and P&G had on NASCAR its going to make other marketing departments take a long closer look at this series and there going to find a wide open sport that’s has a affordable value that is exciting to watch and has had a viewer increase over 760% in the past year. This is the start of this sport launching into the national advertising market =so boys you better put some polish on those proposals and be sending them out now. I will let you in on a little something national companies across the board are increasing there marketing budgets 25% going into the second quarter due the lack of sales!

This is not at all negative but this is not ground breaking news. Lucas Oil has many partners in several of their other race series and Geico is one of those. You will most likely see E3 spark plugs, K&N, R&L carriers, Dixie Chopper, and many others join in as they are all part of Team Lucas. Lucas Oil has put together a group of company's under the "Team Lucas" banner and they all follow the leader.

"Team Lucas" was a smart move.

I Think Kumho as official tire is great news! these guys are west coast based and were all about the CORR show, they need large impact and a great ROI. their vote of confidence is huge. i understand the TV package was presented to the sponsor group yesterday so it should be officially announce very soon.

Correct. Also need to add Super Clean to the list. If they hook someone outside of "Team Lucas" then that will be news.
