I got into desert racing when my friend bought a 74 bronco that was built in the early 80's. We decided to go the Jackpot, NV and race. We didn't have the greatest luck that day. I have been going back every years since. That was in 1999. Have 2 of my own rigs now and plan racing more. Have raced one for the last 2 years its a 72 ford 4x4 with pretty much stock suspension. Now I have bought a 79 2 wheel drive with lots more travel and plan on racing without beating my body as much.
