DRIVE and District38 Team Up to Clean Plaster City

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that came out to the DRIVE/District38 Desert Scrub-Down. What an awesome day and some really awesome people that took a day out of their weekend to come out to Plaster City and pick up all kinds of junk.

It was cool seeing bike people (District38 President included), car people, truck people, and even the BLM come together for a great cause. Doug and Kelly Wasser put a lot of energy and time into getting this thing togehter, and that's on top of everything it takes to run the DRIVE series.

For anyone that missed it this time around, don't worry! DRIVE is planning on putting many more of these on, with more dumpsters nextime

Here are some more....

This invention was the brain child of Jerry Perrault. He hung these super powerful magnets off the front of his truck and drove through the camping areas. I've never seen so many nails come shooting up from the sand! When he would drive by it sounded like someone was firing a machine gun!?!?!

Had a great time. After the clean up I headed to San Felipe, along the way I had this urge to stop and pick up the trash along the road.

We were out testing shocks on one of our new prerunners the past weekend and let me tell you, these guys did a hell of a job! They even let us use there trailer after a part broke on the car. Great job guys!!!
