Re: Mexicali 500
well time its due and the second race of the year its almost here, two 200 mile laps sounds to be a great challenge, race course will be something different from other races and if you truly want to get some real Baja racing experience this its your best bet.
The map its uploaded and almost all information was sent, this week the drawing for starting positions will be held in Mexicali, so sent those entry forms, call by phone or send a email to be in.
word on the street its the return, of some racers to this event, in the class 1 ranks Javier Robles who this year suported CODE off road sponsoring the event will be back in his class 1, along with Armando Bravo in his Chevy truck also the Mango Racing crew with 2 trucks, the same ones, won the last race overall in San Luis a month a go, the MAII Motorsports Tatum/LS2/Mendeola Transaxles of Mario Acosta are in his final touches to return to the Mexicali desert also.
BTW, Baja Pits will be on site providing support for both bikes and cars, call them to for more info, also on the CODE page you can download the race map and they have marked the spots when those Baja pits will be available.

also CODE off road its working on his contingency program, for more info look here:

so who else are coming to the race, will be a great event and the perfect scenario to practice more on Baja, and with plenty of time before the Baja 500.
heres some info

I wish we were going to this race, it's possible but not likely. The CODE 500 has been awesome since their first one a couple of years ago
