Battlefield 1943
Well, I saw an HD on demand preview for this game, and all I can say is DAMN. I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning! Looks awesome!
Dunno if its online anywhere, but if you have Time Warner, look for it on ON DEMAND.

Re: Battlefield 1943
this game came out yesterday i think. I bought it for 1200 points. definetly worth it, considering that 1200 points is only about $15.00.
planes, tanks, jeeps, boats. its a pretty simple game. but thats what makes it fun. VTR racing and I already bought it. really laggy, and not enough servers right now, but i expect those problems to disapear soon.

Just waiting for the PC version and I am in. Have any of you PS3 users hooked up a wireless keyboard and mouse for these FPS games?

Re: Battlefield 1943
Haven't tried a keyboard and mouse yet? Is it possible now? I could try it if the PS3 OS can support it now. I haven't really kept up on it lately.
PS store says its available for download at $14.99. So I take it, its a stand alone game just, just the 4 maps?
If so, I might get both the PS3 version, and the PC version when it arrives.

Re: Battlefield 1943
I saw that it was 3 maps and 3 classes and that was it. IGN has a nice video review of it here :

A friend at work said that it is possible to use a keyboard and mouse, but I am not sure I belive him 100%.

Re: Battlefield 1943
Ok.. so..
My BT mouse and keyboard work great on the PS3.. just not for any games! lol
I dont see how they could work for games, unless you hacked into the game data files somehow. I wonder if I can use my joystick to fly the planes atleast. Havent tried that yet, but I doubt it since games that let you use alternate controls, have the option to adjust them in the settings.
