Thanks for posting BEETLE! It's great to see the younger generation taking an interest in this. Our next clean-up will be Oct 31st in either PC or Super. You and your dad did a great job at the last one.

Simple as taking the time after you have packed up your campsite to go around and pick up all the trash you see in the area. Also as you are driving around the desert stop and pick up trash as you go. Always carry trash bags with you and as a game see who in the group comes back to camp with the most filled trash bags. Make a prize for the winner if in a group. Then haul all that stuff home and recycle it and make some exra cash for the next trip.

The ultimate goal is to come home with only the stuff you took. If everyone did this then we wouldn't have a problem.

It really amazes me just how much crap is left behind. PACK IT IN PACK IT OUT it's that simple to keeping the desert clean. I was talking with Doug and for the next clean-up we could gather all the metal together recycle it and have a DRIVE Recycle Party for the racers & volunteers. Looking forward to Oct 31. This is the next DRIVE/ D38 desert clean-up date.

These compiled a list of most events plus they organize their own. Great effort by enthusiasts who actively use the desert and participate in the offroad racing community.

If you are a desert enthusiast than you need to step up and do your part.
