i think everybody needs to put their egos aside and work something out! ... if that were to happen, off road racing would COULD be bigger than nascar! ... well maybe...

I would say WOULD be... the action is much more exciting every weekend... they just need some rich people to step up to own, operate, and promote permanent facilities...

Is it a war between TORC and LORRS?

TORC has 95% of the top short course off road racers in the world. I would only call it a war if say the series was split. But the reality is: almost all the top guys are racing TORC, and the TORC series goes through the legendary tracks that draw huge crowds (10 x's larger than what's happening right now at Primm) So this is NOT EVEN CLOSE to a war.

To be fair to LOORRS, as Fantasy is completely unbiased (LOORRS was the first to sign on with our concept) LOORRS matched the top selling CORR race of 2008 with today (4/4/2009) in ticket sales. Not saying that the ticket total in PRIMM cannot be beat elsewhere, but, LOORRS is on the right track with the Fan Base.

TORC has yet to commit to Fantasy Off-Road Racing and we have opened the lines of communication with NORRS. As a site that is trying to promote the sport and get fans interactive, I would like to see the "war" end... hence, that is why we are running a "Fantasy Championship" with the two (or three) series combined!

Rob ran great today! Props to Rob for crushing the field with a broken foot and doing it all with his left foot! Amazing.

Anyway, just putting out statistics and not wanting to stir pot - just want to put it out there.

What really sucks that might have taken away a few fans is the NHRA was in Vegas this weekend too. Probably not that big of a deal but it definately could have got a few more fans in the stands.
