Mini Twin I Beam?
Im working on building my own version of a Rhino/RZR to play in the sand. I have cut down an old chevy truck front axle from the 50s, took 12 inches out of the center and am aiming for around a 52 inch track width. Also im flipping it so instead of having a drop it will have a lift and high ground clearance and welded on new spindles for newer GM truck bearings and corrected for proper caster.
Im wondering how I should mount the split beams for maximum travel on a budget. Should I sleeve them and run a bushing? Any input is appreciated, I made it this far, now im lost. The axle is forged so it can be welded on.

Since you didn't mention it, you will need radius arms...

Re: Mini Twin I Beam?
Yeah, I kinda let that part slip I guess. The Beams measure about 23 inches from the end to the kingpin, so about how long should I build my radius arms out to?

So, you are making a set of those exotic center mount A-beams?
