I wanted to wish Steve Kurtyka a Happy 31st Birthday. Steve is recently a new father as well and I am sure today will be a busy and fun day for him. Happy Birthday bro. For those of you who do not know who Steve is, he is the MAN over at Camburg, he is the owner of XYZ Productions and is one of the people who survived a crazy helicopter accident a few years ago out in desert BUT HE HAS COME BACK STRONGER THEN EVER!!!! Again HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE.

Hey Steve happy birthday!
I have never met Steve, but have a Steve story that proves out he is a very stand up guy.
OK. I was looking to buy a race car, and ended up at JFK's place in Apple Valley checking out his 1600 car. While we were there we saw this truck he was working on and we were checking it out and I thought it was going to be a cool truck. The next day we went to the race to help pit for some people and were to meet JFK afterwards to go for a test drive in the 1600 car.
During the race we had a race radio and a scanner and over the scanner we heard about the helo crash and from what we heard, it was not good at all.
We went and met John at the main pit after the race and were talking about the crash and he explained that the truck he was working on was one of the guys in the helo, (Steve).
About a year or so after this, (we ended up buying the car that day), we were racing a MORE race and had our top blow off. Don't know how, but it did.
I placed a post here on RDC and lo and behold I got a response that it had been found, and was still in good shape. And guess who had it, Steve.
He returned it to me and it's still on the car today.
Like I said, I never met the guy, but what a stand up guy...HAPPY-B-DAY.
