My name is buck, and i'm here to...

Talk offroad. And my name is actually Jim.

Been checking this site mainly for design ideas for a couple of years now, and finally feel that i'm almost qualified to comment on some questions on here.
My dad has owned a sand rail shop in phoenix since the seventies, so thats where i spent my summers as a kid. Built a kx 1000 powered mini buggy while i was in high school. Single seat, A-arm front and rear, diffential, and dual inboard brakes so it actually turned compared to most cycle powered cars back then. Bought a 95 Nissan Hardbody when i turned 17 and promptly drove it through a saguaro.... then added i beams and cage. Tore it down to redo it right the summer i graduated. Then college started, so it’s been out of order for about 4 yrs now. Graduating with a bachelorette in Mechanical Engineering from asu in may.
