The Iron Man Rock Crawl event is Saturday, June 13 at Octane Fest 2009 in Fallon, NV. The Rock Crawl will be at the Fairgrounds ... a.k.a. Festival Central, where events include
* Dynamic Desiel Truck & Trctor Pulls,
* The Tuff Cup Challenge,
* The EnduroCross,
* ATV and motorcycle races,
* a Demolition Derby, Mud Bogs
Plus there will a Vintage Tractor Show & Shine, a Mad Metal Truck Show & Shine, a Monster “Ride” Truck, along with food, music and a vendor midway.

Octane Fest 2009 debuts the “TUFF-Cup Truck Challenge” – a race that tests a driver’s skills on a rocking, man-made short course guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping. TUFF-Cup 4x4 and 2x4 racers compete head-to-head negotiating a course of rock, mud, high speed jumps and Supercross-style berms running in and out of an arena at the Churchill County Fairgrounds built specially for the June 11-14 Octane Fest 2009 in Fallon, NV.

Open to Tough Truck, Rock Racers, Class 7 Trucks, and any off road vehicle, this is a short-course version of the “King of the Hammers” race, said Ty Erquiaga, Nevada Motorsport Productions/Octane Fest director.

This race is geared toward racers from Tough Truck, Rock Racing and any comer from SCORE, CORR, Top-Truck, BITD, CALROCKS, XRRA, WEROCK or VORRA,” said Robert Daly, co-owner of Nevada Motorsport Productions and co-producer of Octane Fest. “We’ll group racers into appropriate vehicle classes and let them rip over the course. It’s sure to set the off-road world on fire and light the fire in every race fans belly.”
