Within 48 hours I received 148 e-mails that I did NOT ask for and 10 actual e-mails.

Sux. As liberal as I like to be...I hope that there will be laws against it soon, so legal action can be taken.

what amazes me isnt all the spam i get, but the content of it. penis enlargement, underage girls, callgirls, etc. you have to think that there are lots of kids getting the same junk mail, and that is even wronger. somehow these nuts have gotten my phone number, and i get calls everyday for debt consolidation, refinancing... things i dont have any need or want for. and if i did, id go find them myself. its way out of hand.

there are laws aginst it... the problem is that most of it comes for other countries... if you get spam from a company that is in the states ther is a goverment program that you are sopse to sent it to... but i cant rember the name of it

Klaus, we have SPAM nailed to where 99.% is caught and filtered.

I use a combination of .procmail, .ask and spamassasin

I was able to recover my email address of "[email protected]" which has been a public address on our site since 1995 which puts it on probably every spam list on the planet.

The emails, the phone calls, all are suppose to be illegal or end(like the no call lists that start in September) but now they are getting around that by setting up their boiler room telemarketing places in the Phillipines. U.S. Laws won't apply to Int'l calls and they can do it cheap enough now that they will still make money.

Web based email URLs seem to be a spam magnet. On a web site I use, I had to change the contact email from a clickey to a cut and paste because of so much spam.

I am lucky enough (knock on wood) to not recieve the damn porno spam. I do however keep getting tons from this damn septic tank place. They change the email address it is send from every day so I can't block it. I don't get it at all - NO ONE out here has septic tanks - WTF?
Also - I get tons about weight loss. All the miracle diet, we can make you thin. Anybody else getting these? Steve

I have noticed quite a few septic tank e-mails as well as the diet stuff. I wish there was a way to make this annoying stuff go away.

I get tons of penis enlargement and diet spam emails. I thought "damn these people must be following me". Good to know everyone is getting them.
