Well here are a couple of pictures of my new project. Since I decided to get rid of the ranger for now, I am working on a Predator sand car. I started without a single piece put together, and some parts have fit easier than others. So here are a couple of pics, and I will try to update it whenever I get something new for it. I plan on having it completely ready to sell by thanksgiving, so if you know anyone who is interested, let me know.
First pic is the custom camo paint scheme that was obtained by burning off the powdercoating, and then spending one night outside to obtain that semi-rusty look.

Here is another picture of the front end. They claim to get 26" of travel, so we'll see what it actually measures once it is off the cart. Let me tell you, the 20" it strokes out right now is a beautiful thing.
This was a nice something to get in the mail. Front hubs from gear one. I found out that you can order things from AZ and you don't have to pay sales tax on them. This was a great day. lol
It took a little bit of work, but we got the front hubs on this past weekend. Finally got everything lined up. The wheels surprisingly nice, I got them polished in Mexico, and they look great for having been in a fire and having all kinds of burnt rubber crap on them.
So the car had caught on fire before you got it? Your stoked you got the whole frame annealed for a good price. Hopefully the fire heated the metal perfectly even throughout. Maybe I will start selling that, walk around with 5 gallons of race fuel with a "heat treating" sticker on it
