Nascar as a company does not like RG. Robby is only there to make money to support his offroad racing. His mistake happened a couple years ago when he publicly said just that. That is a slap in the face of Nascar, and whenever they can, RG gets the shaft by Nascar. Inspections happen all the time, but what's lame is the degree of penalty RG always gets for any minor infraction versus what other drivers would get. It's kind of like the Raiders when Al Davis sued the NFL. And now Al wonders why the refs, who are employed by the NFL, are always bias against the Raiders? The lesson is don't sue or slap the sanctioning body when they make/enforce the rules you have to play by.

I understand the similarities, but I don't understand why NASCAR would "hate" a racer that is consistently in the upper 20's or lower 30's. Seems to me we are looking for excuses. NASCAR is too big of a company to worry about a racer using them to fund another hobby.

OK I guess I'll explain it to you then. How would you feel if you were the proud owner of a racing body---like NASCAR. Then one of the guys racing your circuit said he only raced your circuit to fund racing some other circuit. He's saying the other circuit is more important to him. NASCAR thinks they are the most important racing, and they would expect somebody to race elsewhere to fund their NASCAR effort. SCORE is competition to NASCAR. Granted, it's a different type of racing, but it is competition because they are competing for racing airtime and glory. NASCAR thinks they are the most important and they are insulted by RGs comments.
