stupid wiring question

so I am getting ready to plug in my new wiring loom---
on the idiot lites for the oil and alternator, the trigger wires from the oil sender and alt go to one side of the light--
does the other go to power or ground---
I know its a stupid question and I should know this--but

I have my wire harness on the ground right now and doubt I will use it. Sorry I couldnt be more help on that..... congrats on the podium Giti.

I was looking for a diagram last year and found these, the first one is from RDC member Ryan_P, and the second is from RDC member 01_el_tiburon.

thanks guys---I left the stocker there until I started gutting the pan, and I ran a new loom from bulk wire--actually ran 2 looms, one for a spare--got it all done. Now thats its all cut up I wish I had the money for some Kartek fiberglass panels--even gutted these sheet metal doors/qtrs are heavy---final weight is going to be around 1800, but its roomy as hell as a single seater, got room for a big ice chest and flat screen tv ----------LOL
