I just can't understand the arguments of what "pitting" a car is. I think everyone knows its a planned stop to fuel, change tires, look over car, etc. Breaking down anywhere else on course is not a pit stop. Let's stop being lawyers and finding loopholes and just read the rules as they were obviously meant to be. sheesh

"What they were meant to be" will not stand up in court. If that is where it ends up. I hope it doesn't come to that.

I'm only a meek Dill Hole who read this: Rule GPT9 states, “All pit services must be done while the race vehicle is at a complete stop. Vehicle may not be serviced while in motion, either under its own power, while being towed, and/or on a trailer. Pit services are to include fueling, tire changes, and/or any other services performed on the race vehicle.” And wondered if I broke could it be construed as "other services on the race vehilce" and get whacked, that's all...
