What size cell fits in that location? Seems like the same cell would fit if it were a single seater since the chassis is the same width at the torsion housing area?

well well well, so im started on it again and will be getting panels done soon its been so long!were trying to make it December for m.o.r.e race!!ill post up pics in like a week or two when panels are done.
Do it before it changes like all else.. Condos, golf courses, solar energy fields, drug cartels, will end the Baja experiance..
I hope to be able to race these history events, The Mint, Baja 500, Vegas to Reno, Baja 1000, and finally Barstow to Vegas (even though its a dual sport bike ride now!)
the entry fees will kill it for all but the rich and famous this years 1000 is 3400.00 for entry add that to the logistics of covering the event and the "RETURN" drive and you are looking at about 10,000.00 to do it right in a 9 car---------any one got a BLACK american express card---------------
Just about finished with the rebuild of my new car build.. most of you know the build history .. basically was happy with my car but it turned out needing to be done right..
Barry the owner of BK Fabworks in Hesperia stepped in and has really took my car to the next level. He cut out and updated all the side tubes to SCORE tag, moved the fuel cell around to make it safter, added alot of custom touches and just completed a re wire and added the new dash set up.
Ditched the original builder trans and motor for some new proven top quaility trans and power.
Special Thanks also to my buddy and co-driver Ron Thomas for putting so much time in on the car and working out the bugs..
Were not racing it until August but wanted to share a few photos..
Yep thats a winch and a beer bottle opener.. I was aiming for Baja but I am not quite ready yet..

I like the winch, great idea if you need to add weight.
Your right, with the rope I think it weighs about 15 lbs.. Later on I may add a back cage mount too.. hang it off the back..
I plan to mount the winch only for a few future bucket list races.. for Barstow etc I will pull it out and get the weight off the front of the car.
