1) Please explain with details and facts why Camburg is a joke.
2) Please explain with details and facts how Camburg doesnt design their own products let alone their own trophy truck.
I could use a good laugh today so make it good ... after all you're hiding behind a computer screen so you should beable to design and fabricate a pretty good story yourself and not pay someone to do it for you haha

I find camburg to be a joke as personal opinion, I think any company that advertises on here should be able to keep some level of professionalism, but from what I have seen on comments based on others that has been left long behind. Now you may design your own stuff with pictures in your mind, but i dont believe you sit infront of solidworks which you own and create your own parts. Its one thing to draw out a design, but to engineer it into a working part on solidworks is another. The reason i say this is that from your TT thread is doesnt sound like you actually do any of the solidworks in house, and since your TT is based on solidworks and all your ideas then i believe you should do it all yourself or give credit where credit is due. Then if you want to come on here and put some kids down that have the fabrication skills and computer skills, that that doesnt show anything of weight when it comes to you. Now if you want bring about hiding behind a computer then i will be sure to let you know who I am the next race im at.
Camburg has always designed and built their own parts, they out sourced to craig to streamline their manufacturing capabilities. nothing wrong with that.

reverse engineering pre-designed parts doesnt count as "skills"

Well being that we actually own licenses to Solidworks, GIBBS and Mastercam and use them everyday, their goes your theory about that. Are we drawing the entire truck in-house ... no, aspects of it ... yes. We have an engineer and others to take our designs and ideas into the computer world and allow us to have a truck fully laser cut and streamlined to speed up and simplify the manufacturing process to bring the cost down for customers without sacrificing quality or strength.
Now that is true professionalism in my book ....
Next race for us will be the Baja 1000, you're more than welcome to visit and take a look at our Camburg/Kinetik trophy truck that we designed and built. If that's too far off, stop by our shop and we'd be glad to give you a tour of our manufacturing facility and design studio.
do they also do all the welding on the TT, or is that outsourced to
You crack me up ... it's pretty clear of your intentions on discrediting us ... sorry it's not gonna work. The hole you dug and are currently typing from is too deep to recover from.
We are building the TT in-house and doing most of the welding. What welding we are not doing is being done by one of the very best. This allows Jason here to move forward with the build, but he is fully capable of doing EVERYTHING in this project. We are on a tight time frame here.
If you would like to see more of Jason's work and welding check out the buggy he's building ....... CLICK HERE
i dont believe any of you know how to use solidworks, the fact you use someone to do the hard stuff is fine, but dont get on here and try to call people out on what they do. If you do understand the program and all the aspect of it, and its all your designs, and you have solidworks, then that doesnt make any sense to me as to why you would need someone to do it for you, as i said its fine, just dont call others out about their work. I will be sure to look for a group of flatbillers.
You're right we don't know how to use Solidworks ........ just snapped this from the desk from one of our two in-house machinists.
Sorry no flatbills in our camp, but if we did who cares because the company we keep around us are some of the best .. you might learn something from them.
So when do we get to question your professionalism ??? From reading your posts you need a refresher.
