about a yr ago or so my brother talked to jessie newton and the people that owned the snortin nortin car back east somewhere were looking to sell it. some thing like 5k. i was seriously thinking about buying it just to have but i had just bought another buggy and i dont think my wife would have liked that too much
Looking forward to reading about all of the Class 6 cars! Drop me a message if you think I can help with anything.
Here are more pictures of the Jodan Brother's Class 6 El Camino.
Thanks to a longtime family friend for posting these in the
CatchYourEye Motorsports Garage.
I also have more pictures on my HubGarage page.
We also ran the Class 6 Datsun 710... I still need to locate some pictures of it.
This is the class 6 I remember as a kid, my dad was always doing battle with that swiss dairy camaro man that thing could haul the mail.
I do not think it is McQueen. Erik Carlsson (on the right) was a world famous SAAB factory rally driver from Sweden. They raced the Saab in 69 & 70, placing 3rd and 5th respectivly. I am not sure what year this photo is from. He won or placed in the top 3 at pretty much every major rally in Europe & Africa in the 50's & 60's.
TRMKARS, thanks for the photos! I was hoping that you would see this post. You can bet that I will contact you for some more information!
