Re: Congregation of 1400/1450 trucks
In addition to further defining the sportsman truck class split, Jim has split the sportsman buggy class by motor size. The result is less complaining in the tech inspection line. Sounds like the MORE racers like the rules.
I have never understood the “sandbagger” concept. If a fight promoter organizes a knife fight but allows assault rifles, why would the guy with the VICTORINOX complain to the AK47 guy that he is sandbagging? Maybe the VICTORINOX guy should find another knife fight promoter that has a class that is limited to pocket knives with a small blade, scissors, nail file with screwdriver tip, toothpick and tweezers.

I know very little about both guns and knives. However, the Swiss Army knife tweezers have been great for getting CV grease out from under my finger nails.

Although 2006 was a long time ago, I think I remember that a lucky tortoise with a Swiss Army knife did in fact slay the hare with the AK47. However, the hare was bogged down carrying around some “Fast Lap” bling.

Matt deserved the Championship but he also really wanted to pass a competitor who was not broken down. He will probably deny it but I know he would trade several CL for the chance to spend one night with one of our “Fast Lap” trophies.

thank you for saying i deserved it tom, and the reason why i deserved it was because i tore the truck down every race and preped the sheit out of every part of it.......hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours that season spent prepping.....hell i almost never saw my wife and kid.......that is how i beat you guys. you had horse power and gobs of wheel travel with big shocks.........but you broke all the time. i had to capitolize on your failures. i knew that my truck with a little motor and a little bit of wheel travel and stage coach leaf springs........, my prep had to be A-game.
and i bullsheit about alot of things but i seriously dgaf about a fast lap trophy......i never thought i had a chance at getting one so not getting one was no big deal, however the points championship......i knew was possible, thats why that means so much more to me......and the entire series overall was just the icing on the cake. we need to hang out and tip back a few beers in the dez tom. i mis you and your boy. i dont think mdr had been the same since 06. me and you and giordano dicing for points........it was awesome.

I will look around for a "Fast Lap" trophy I can give you. We have several and are running out of wall space.
Also, I will check to see if I have a keyboard with an extra "Shift" key I can pass on.
