August 21st-Rally Racing Hits 1000's of Theaters

This coming Friday, August 21st, rally racing hits thousands of theaters around the country as a segment in the new 3D X Games movie! For one week only, "Golden Boy" Travis Pastrana, who drives for Subaru Rally Team USA, represents rally in this amazing 3D film covering the sports in the X Games events. (Check your local listings for movie times)

Rally America was fortunate to be invited to the 3D X Games movie premiere held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles before X Games 15 competition, and seeing rally cars in 3D was spectacular! Groundbreaking techniques really brought out the dust and gravel in ways never experienced before in 3D movies. A lot of filming occurred at the Olympus Rally (Round 3 of the Rally America Championship Series) in Washington State earlier this year and you can see the 3D results in the movie.

The movie is only in theaters for one week and is an experience that can't be missed as a rally fan. It isn't often you get to see rally on the big screen and in 3D!
