    Hurricane Jimena updates?

    Thought I would start.
    May affect the Norra race.

Lucky it stayed on the Pacific side.
Marching up the Sea of Cortez would have been more of a disaster.

Doesn't look to be projected to stay on the pacific side.

It will weaken as it travels north and crosses over. (cooler water)
If hit the 90 degree Sea of Cortez- it would have stayed strong and marched right up probably.

Hope to hear from someone down there.

I just talked to my caretaker in San Jose Del Cabo. They have received very little rain and it is a little windy right now, but not too bad. I think it will land more Northern towards Punta Abreojos or San Carlos area. Hopefully it will not effect Mulege' , they have gotten the worst of the storms in the past few years.

Looks like a direct hit on Scorpion Bay.
Doesn't mean it won't start up again when it hits the Sea of Cortez!

La Paz cool so far - very little rain (for a supposed hurricane that is)

I update here as soon as I get the feeds in http://www.baja-weather.com/

Posted some La Paz pics from 1:00 at http://www.la-paz-bcs.com/la-paz/jim...a-little-more/
Will go out - as every hurricane - to get pics and vids when arrives and it's day light.

Got to much beer stocked up... got to work on that for now....

I am in Puerto Vallarta right now and we are getting some rain from it. We have had the clouds for three days but finally seeing a lot of lightning and the rain is just starting. It rolled in pretty heavy early this evening.

7:45 am - La Paz: Just a little windy otherwise nice again, actually some sunshine!! Some rain yesterday but no more as a usual heavy rain and not of long duration - the longest may 90 minutes at a piece. As usual some streets at "strategic" locations under water until run of. Nothing new with that....

Some short power outage last night and internet seem to be sluggish this morning for me. But maybe I'm just spoiled with my Infinitum 4000

We got lucky yet the hurricane season is far from over.......
