    Help with a new find ?

    found this in a wrecking yard down the street from the house - i thought it was a ford 9" rear axle - now im not to sure - can anyone help ? - it measures 54 inches from flange to flange - was hoping to use in my jeepspeed project - but not too sure now - lol - thanks for any advise and have a great day - hope the images show up - newb on this site hope i got it right

    It looks like a early oldsmobile rear 1958-1962 toss it no parts available. you need to find a 9" out of a early lincon versiles 1981-84 [It looked like a ford granada] it had disc brakes and all I put one in a 86 ranger and it was the right width.
