    Cheating or Rule Interpretation?

The SCORE rule book basically states what you can't do, not what you can. I have found a hole in the rule book, something that I know would not be class 9 legal unless asked in a way that would make them think that it was not a class 9. However, it is not stated as illegal. Would others racers perceive this as a radical idea that they failed to see or as cheating? I am actually awaiting scores interpretation on what I am talking about. For now the specifics are pretty secretive.

I would urge you to get Savage's OK in writing before racing, passing tech, and then getting disqualified later on. There have been numerous incidences where this has come up. Also keep in mind that what may be "legal" in Score may not fly with the locals at another racing venue.....

Savage's ok and or disapproval should be in the mail. I'm out of town but should have it when I get back next week.

Annand - my only hint is that it's expensive.

    Re: Cheating or Rule Interpretation?

I sent out my letter to Savage over 3 week ago....no reply. Called them but didn't get into it with the guy on the phone, but did ask about an addendum to 7/8 shaft that people on here were talking about. That was thursday. Still no call back.
