Say JJ is just an average driver in an exeptional car. Why is his car so much better than jr's? I would think the Hend cars would all be pretty similar, with most differences being in crewchief decisions. That said, how do you judge talent? Who is most talented, in terms of getting an average car to the front? Edwards may make awesome saves, driving out of corners sideways, but maybe jj is just smarter and gets through the corner a little slower but under control.
