Re: What\'s the word on ROR?
well, i dont know what all Greg and Jen have up their sleeves for the upcomming season but im pretty sure its gonna be good! i know im stoked as hell and cant wait to get my truck back on the track for some mud slingin action. the new track is awesome and there are even more changes that greg has made to the track that are sure to impress. lets all band together and make sure the ROR is a success as its the least we can do to repay G and J for all they have done for us. so bring out your ride and tell all your friends!

Re: What\'s the word on ROR?
This is in no way official but just an update of what we want to try to do. There will be a few months between now and the next race, during that time the physical track will have the jump on the front straight made into a really smooth, and big, table (no more slapping on touck down), the front whoops will have a bypass of small rythm rollers (like a 6 bmx 6 pack but for trucks) that will be alot more fun for most trucks, and the "old" track wwill be made short-course friendly to welcome the wheel-to-wheel action. Our fence lease is up so we are gonna get new fencing before the next race ( any fencing contractors looking for a right-off/sponsor program??) and will try to add more spectator areas and we will have a "hot pit" area for the wheel to wheel stuff. Our "Challenger" class truck class seems to be coming together as there are a few of us putting to gether trucks for next season, these trucks can be run in the desert too, so maybe a combination for a points series. I think UP will have a contingency at MDR offering like $100 to the fastest UP member in 1400/1450. And maybe discounts, for ROR, to those that race both series. We are looking to add more to the specator hill also and trying to find more bleachers. We were talking about highlighting certain wheel-to-wheel groups for each race next season (like 1600/super 1600 or the challenger/7s or have the pro arena trucks or whatever) we are crtainly open for suggestion. We want to start doing the meetings again, we have at least a couple in the works, one in spring as our 4th anniversary of ip/up. There's more but it gets boring/tedious, but let us know more of what people want. As i said, non of this is in stone, just all serious considerations at this point.

Re: What\'s the word on ROR?
There is a possibility of a wheel-to-wheel event in December if everything comes together all right. We are for sure planning a meeting hopefully before the end of the year or just after. November is a very busy month and with the holidays in December it gets kind of tricky, too. The ROR site has been revamped and will be uploaded in the next couple days, as soon as I finish some updates to the main site, too. I'm open to suggestions on things you guys might like to see on either the ROr site or Prerunners.Com. P.S. Matt, you are the best! You're like a one-man pep squad! We sure appreciate it!
