Re: Need help building equal length beams
I'm making my own equal length beams for a small buggy out of DOM.
I don't know very much about beams myself so I can't give a whole lot of info but I also would be interested to hear what those in the know have to offer.
Hopefully you will get some good responses to this post.

I will have coil overs and in the future put bypasses on, i plan on racing 1450 then work my way into the 7 class with the same truck. I am on a budget so I thought of buying the kingpin beams or the 4x4 bronco beams? I had unequal with coil overs and they bent so its time for a upgrade in the front end!

the king pin beams are pretty good and there already about 6 inches over on a ranger. you will need to cut and turn and bend them however so if you are up to that then go with the king pins. if you check out solo motorsports website and look at the red ranger you can see the beams they fabd up. i am planning on making my own kingpins also just waitin on some money.

7/8"s is plenty strong.
It's just the aftermarket caters to 1" kingpin stuff.
