Glad this thread got away from bashing Pfaff, because Gordy has earned far more respect than that over the years building BA engines. Could TheMan be the same guy in the red four seater at Borrego???
That was me in line at Tecate Sunday that made what sounded like a wise $%s comment about the motor on Weatherman, but I had no idea what took you out. Spent the race night at Llano Colorado and we never heard what had gone bad for you.
Had a stroked 567 Pfaff motor in a Sleakcraft that sure set you back in your seat, so was hoping it wasn't your motor. Best of luck in Laughlin, you're due for one!!!
gordy from paul pfaff engines is going to repair my engine.......i went to pfaff engines for quality service, and thats what i am getting.....gordy is a stand-up guy.......if it wasnt true, i would not post it.........
from anybody else I would be laughing my **BAN ME****BAN ME****BAN ME****BAN ME****BAN ME** off, but from you it has meaning..
on another note the duralast if I remember correctly, there were seven blocks made for that motor...7 liter inline six(I could be wrong) super smooth and could be wound out like no other motor...musical!!! I miss those trucks
Not just an internet racer!!
You should have pored Slime into it![]()
Looking at your truck before the race, the engine looked like it was kinda old. It looks like Gordy patched your old stuff. The engine just didn't look like the others. I come from boats, and they are the best. I don't see old stuff come from there shop. where they trying to save you money. Just Curious. Good luck next year
