best bang for the buck
i am thinking about buying another rc car just to mess around with. a few friends have the slash, is that still the hot ticket or is there something better/more fun? i don't want to break the bank and am not going to race or anything, i just want something low maintenance and fun. i have an hpi nitro mt that breaks when you turn it on and now it's hard to find parts for it. what do you guys recommend?

Re: best bang for the buck
Come on Ollie..Theres no such thing as a low maintenence rc car. At one point or another your going to want to build some huge jump. Go with the SC10. One of associated's guys is on here all the time and is really good on helping the desert and short course guys out if you need some help or have a problem with your car.

I personally don't bash my stuff... i huck my car 30+ feet sometimes and if you land on the wheels you're fine(which is easy to do) the slash in my opinion is uncontrilable in the air, which is why they ha to make it so durable. I've had my sc10 for about 5 months and broke two arms, switched to rpm and haven't broken anything yet.
if you want to drive with your buddys get a slash.. but if you want to school your buddys and then laugh at their exsistence.. get an sc10

SC10 Ollie, I bought the ready to run version at Tower Hobbies (cause I am cheap and like the ez pay program). That thing is fast and fun out of the box!

How long do these cars run on a single charge?
