    Time delay 12 V relay....

I have an electric radiator fan running all the time (directly with ignition) with my prerunner, I was wondering if there is such a thing like a 1 min time delay relay that I could install, this is because sometimes while I am working on it and I run my battery off while I have the ignition off and the car not running.

    Thanks

You might consider putting the fan on its own circuit with a separate switch.

There is also this from Amperite:

    http://www.amperite.com/assets/Documents/b.PDF

It's available with a fixed delay of up to 300 seconds (5 minutes).

Run the fan on a separate circuit, with a standard switch.

Are you looking for a timer that turns the fan off one minute after the ignition is shut off? Or are you looking for one that turns the fan on after the ignition has been on for a minute? I'm not sure that I understand what you are trying to accomplish. I've built electronic timers before, they're pretty simple and I can probably make whatever you need. I would do that for you. I know where there's a couple of nice race wheels you might want also.

thats right, also you can put a dual temp thermo switch, like the ones used on vehicles with dual fan speed, so, you have already a backup, you can connect those things to 2 relays conected to a single fan, i dont know if i made my self clear on that,
