    Kid\'s Quads

Does anyone have an opinion on a good starter quad for kids, age range 4-10. I'm looking at the Suzuki LT50 or LT80.
I'm hoping to transition the oldest to an Blaster I have. Any advice would be appreciated. Christmas is around the corner.

    Re: Kid\'s Quads

I bought a Honda 90 for my son, he was 8 when we got it, have had it for a year, has worked great, the only draw backs are pull start (not a big problem, always starts with a few pulls cold first pull when warm and he can now start it) no lights (can be fit with a kit from rickystater for lights). It has a throtle stop so they can work up and it has four speed (no clutch) so they can learn this when ready or just leave in 1st or 2nd while they are new. Now that he has been riding it for a year there are after market parts to make it handle better and go faster (not ready for that yet it will go over 20 already way to fast for the suspension in the rough, needs to learn when to slow down.) They are a little more pricey then a 50 or an 80 but they can use it longer so you wont be bying a new one in a year. He will probably go to my wifes 250 in a year or two.
