ASCC Announces New 2010 Short Course Series
Phoenix, Az.- Arizona Short Course Championship (ASCC) is pleased to announce a new short course off-road racing series starting February 2010. ASCC offers an affordable short course off-road racing series to local off-road racers while providing local racing fans with an action packed, fun filled weekend that is affordable for the entire family. The entire 2010 racing series will be held at the Speedworld Off-Road Park located in Surprise, AZ.
OVERVIEW
The ASCC is an affordable, action packed short course off-road racing series: “Where Motocross meets Saturday night dirt trackin”! A three-race Spring Series and a three-race Fall Series champion will be crowned during our 2010 season.
LOCATION
The 2010 Inaugural series will be held at Speedworld Off Road Park located in Surprise, AZ. This location is quickly becoming one of the premier purpose-built short course off-road racing facilities in the country.
SCHEDULE
Spring Series Dates: Feb 26& 27, Mar 19 & 20, Apr 30 & May1
Fall Series Dates: Oct 8 & 9, Nov 5 & 6, Dec 3 & 4
The current ASCC schedule does not conflict with any of the “LOORRS/TORC” scheduled racing events.

How many UTV classes will there be.. Any set towards the Desert Racers BITD UTV's ?
2 seats, cc limit ?

Entry fee will be $200.00 for all classes except Trophy Kart will be $100.00.
Payback will be 50% of entry fee to 50% of the field.
Rules still being discussed but here is what we have so far.
STOCK TRUCK rules are up on our site.
Unlimited Trucks is Unlimited Trucks.
Unlimited Buggy will be Short course Unlimited, desert class 1,10 and 12.
Limited Buggy will be Short course Limited, desert 1600,9 and 5-1600.
UTV/SxS will be split class but run together untill car count gets up.
Production Class: 800cc and under/ Unlimited UTV:800cc-1000cc.
1450/Prerunner basic 1450 rules 4cyl and 6cyl only V8's will run Unlimited truck.
Trophy Karts seems to be a mess so we would like to hear from the ARIZONA TK parents on how to make it a fun and AFFORDABLE class for your kids and mine.

Tim, is that 1000cc unlimited UTV class open to motorswap Rhinos, like the SR1's?

and rotax swaps?
1450 trucks running with unlimited trucks????? I think there will some safety issues combining those since a 1450 is/can be a street legal vehicle with steel cab and opening doors.

Some of these questions are being answered in the short course forum here on RDC already.
Be sure to keep a close eye on both forums and all of your questions I'm sure will be answered.

We are still talking about the V8 trucks and turbo chargers we just want to make it fair for everyone not create safety issues.

Yes the full LOORRS track! We are also working on some really cool stuff we hope to announce very soon.
